Combing our infants, toddlers, and school aged parishioners is the Field of our future. Field Life refers to this ministry. Directed by Kim Deginnero (Nursery), Joe Ragan (Field K.I.D.S.) and LeeAnn Anderson (Field C.R.E.W.) this vibrant ministry is dedicated to encouraging our youth, their families and friends to grow and develop their faith in Christ. We encourage you to connect and find your niche here at SFITF Episcopal Church - you will make new friends and make a difference. Within our church, various groups organize adult ministry activities ranging from spiritual to social. There are many groups that meet regularly for fellowship, spiritual growth or Bible Study. We have or are in the process of developing several new groups as well including a Men’s Group and a Women’s Group. Many of our groups combine fellowship with devotion or study of the scripture. Consider your talents and if you consider yourself a leader we encourage you to not only participate but consider leading a church committee that focuses on an area that interests you.
We understand that sometimes life gets in the way, we all have busy schedules. In some cases our members are not able to commit to monthly meetings or an extended period of time serving a specific committee. If this is your situation we encourage you to register with our volunteer committee. Our volunteer committee has a mailing list that includes any current areas within the church that require volunteers in addition to the ones that already participate through each program. For more information and to register, please contact Bryan Jones at firstname.lastname@example.org
Our mission statement is “Empowering our parishioners to provide hope, impact lives and inspire others while encouraging fellowship in the name of Jesus Christ” and that is exactly what we aspire to do. This committee meets the fourth Monday every month at 6:00 pm at the church office and works jointly with coordinators from our current ministries to provide updates and identify new opportunities for our congregation to come together for fellowship, while helping different organizations throughout our local community. If you have any questions about our current ministries or have an idea for a new outreach opportunity, we encourage you to talk with one of our committee members. For more information, please contact Dan Dallam at email@example.com
Our focus is connecting and engaging our newcomers as well connecting with others in our local community. One avenue we use is through participating every other month in the Nocatee Farmers Market but we would love to explore other ideas you may have. The Engagement Committee is also responsible for Fellowship and Events within SFITF. We have a full calendar planned and are looking for ideas for new events also. If you have a gift for connecting with others or planning and organizing events please consider serving on this committee in some capacity.
