The Rev. Michael E. Ellis Fr. Michael Ellis is a native Floridian and began serving as a priest in the Diocese of Florida in 1981. He has served parishes in Jacksonville, Tallahassee, and Nashville, TN. In 2005, he became the second rector of St. Francis. Married to Joan, Fr. Michael has two adult children and three grandchildren. Fr. Michael studied at Florida Junior College at Jacksonville (now Florida State College at Jacksonville), Florida State University, and received his Masters of Divinity at Seabury-Western Theological Seminary in Evanston, IL. Fr. Michael enjoys fishing and hunting and chooses walking the dog and bicycling for fitness.

THE REV. RICK LINDSEY
The Rev. Rick Lindsey. A life long active member of the Episcopal Church, Rick’s home parish The Church of the Messiah sponsored him for ordination. After graduating from Towson University in Towson Maryland, Rick immediately attended and graduated from Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge Massachusetts in 1976 with emphasis in Pastoral Care. More importantly Rick met Jane and they married the summer before his last year of studies at EDS. Jane and Rick are the proud parents of Amanda and Rebekah, both living in Florida; and of course we are proud grandparents of Colton, our grandson. Rick has held positions as rector in four parish over the span of 43 years as a priest in the Episcopal Church; including Christ Church West River, Maryland; Church of the Nativity, Birmingham Michigan; Saint Alfred’s Palm Harbor Florida; and most recently as rector of All Saints Hilton Head Island. Rick is delighted to assist Michael in ways that help the rector in the care and ministry of St Francis in The Field.

Deacon Linda Rosengren
The Reverend Deacon Linda Rosengren was ordained in the Diocese of Central Florida in December, 1997. Before coming to St. Francis in September, 2012, she served churches in Winter Park, FL and Jacksonville, FL. Linda holds a Masters in Early Childhood Education and taught for 15 years in the public school system. She left teaching in 1987 for her new roles in Christian Education. She is now employed as a Chaplain and Coordinator of Bereavement Services at Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville. She is certified in Thanatology by the Association for Death Education and Counseling. Linda is married to Gar Rosengren. They have two sons, Kevin and Brent; two lovely daughters-in-law; and four adorable grandchildren.

dEACON CARLENE TAYLOR
The Rev. Dcn. Dr. Carlene Taylor and her faithful canine companion Elijah ‘Eli’ are making St. Frances in the Field their church home. Carlene, a native of Florida, was ordained to the Sacred Order it Deacons in 2014 in the Diocese or Georgia. She has served at two parishes in Camden County, GA before moving to Jax Beach in March of 2019. Carlene is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Faculty Member at UNF in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program of the Brooks College of Health. Eli is UNF’s only non-human faculty member, assisting Carlene in her teaching and service work around campus. Carlene and Eli brought at special program to UNF that is related to her diaconal ministry in the world; the pair specializes in the Integration of Creativity, Animals and Nature in Healthcare. UNF now has a Graduate Certificate in Animal Assisted Therapy in Counseling and is working with local non-profits, healthcare and social justice partners to expand ethical safe inclusion of animals as partners in clinical services.

Jackie Falconer, Administrative Assistant
Jackie was born and raised in the UK and moved to the US in the mid-1980s. She lived in Philadelphia, Boston and Atlanta before moving to Ponte Vedra in 2016 and making Nocatee her home. With a BA from the College of Westminster, London Jackie previously worked in continuing medical education and traveled the world organizing medical conferences. She has a son who lives locally, and a daughter and son-in-law who live in Macon, GA. In her free time, Jackie likes to exercise and play on or in the water, and she routinely volunteers for the GTM Reserve and Learn to Read of St. John’s County.

LeeAnn was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida and grew up in the protestant faith. She is married to Andrew Anderson and is the mother of two: Erin, a sophomore at FSU and Field Life Youth alumna and Drew, a junior in high-school who is also an active member of Field Life Youth. LeeAnn has held several positions working with youth in local churches and Young Life, and she leads our annual summer mission trips to Cuba to work with the youth in our companion church. She is passionate about helping students grow in and live out their faith. In her spare time, LeeAnn enjoys travel, running and cooking. She received her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of North Florida and received her Masters of Business Administration from Jacksonville University.

ELIZABETH HERRMANN, Field K.I.D.S. INTERiM Director
Elizabeth was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. After graduating from Florida State University, she moved to Breckenridge, Colorado for a year and a half and then taught English abroad for six months in the Czech Republic. After two years of traveling, she returned to Jacksonville, Florida and begin teaching kindergarten. While living in Neptune Beach, she met and married her husband Greg and they now have two children, Ella and Oliver. Ella was enrolled in the Early Learning Program, Little Flowers, at Saint Francis in-the-Field. It was through the preschool that the family began to meet church members and soon became members of the church themselves. In her free time she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

Kristin Silberman, Director E.L.P
Kristin was born and raised in Michigan and moved to Florida is 2005. Her and her husband, Stephen Silberman live in Nocatee and have two young sons: Wyatt and Cooper, who both attend St. Francis in the Field Little Flower’s Preschool. Kristin was a fourth grade teacher in Clay County for a total of eight years.
She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Central Michigan University in Elementary Education with emphasis and Mathematics and History and Master's of Education from Grand Canyon University in Curriculum and Instruction in Reading. In her spare time, Kristin enjoys, spending time with her family, reading, and crafting.
